The Low Range Off-Road Ultimate E-Locker Wiring Harness Kit (Low Pinion Rear) is the premier, plug-and-play solution for wiring an OEM Toyota 8" electric locking differential into an axle-swap project or non-locker vehicle.
While retrofitting a factory Toyota E-Locker is one of the best traction upgrades available, custom wiring is notoriously difficult. Splicing into trailer wire or hacking up partial factory harnesses frequently leads to improper voltage drops or short circuits. This complete 18-foot harness kit completely eliminates the headache, providing a seamless, reliable connection from your dash switch straight to the differential.

This Low Pinion Rear harness is designed for factory 8-inch Toyota electric locking differentials typically found in the rear axle of the following donor vehicles:
  • Toyota Tacoma: 1996–2015 (Does NOT fit 2016+ single-plug models)
  • Toyota 4Runner: 1996–2002 (3rd Gen)
  • Toyota FJ Cruiser: 2007–2014
CRITICAL FITMENT NOTES:
  • Plug Shape Verification: Please inspect your factory e-locker actuator plug before ordering. A rare variant found on some 2011+ Tacomas utilizes a single 8-pin plug; this harness is not compatible with single 8-pin configurations.
  • Pinion Configuration: This kit is designed for standard Low Pinion Rear differentials. If you are wiring a High Pinion Front differential (such as an FJ80 Land Cruiser front axle swap), you will require the High Pinion specific version of this harness.
  • Hardware Required: This kit includes the standalone wiring harness, fuses, and activation switch only. It does not include the physical E-locker differential, housing, actuator motor, or factory ECU module.
