The East Coast Gear Supply (ECGS) Toyota 8" Front Clamshell Needle Bearing Removal Tool is the ultimate time-saving specialty tool for lifted truck owners. This custom-engineered extractor allows you to cleanly pull the failure-prone factory driver-side CV axle needle bearing out of the carrier housing without having to remove, drop, or disassemble the front differential assembly.
Attempting to pull the stock needle bearing using universal blind-hole pullers or basic slide hammer attachments usually results in the fragile roller needles exploding into the differential casing. This specialty tool slides squarely past the factory bearing shell, flips flat behind the bearing casing, and pulls it out in one complete piece.
